Lola Fowora is an encourager! A master motivator, wife, and mother to three wonderful daughters. She started her natural hair journey in 2003, and has been a natural hair enthusiast. She is an advocate for women embracing who they are, loving who they are, and being empowered to wear their natural hair and feel beautiful with it. She strongly believes that this is the core of our existence. If we have this peace and understanding within ourselves as women and girls, then wearing the natural hair is just an expression of that internal bliss.

Her experiences from taking care of her own natural hair, and her daughters’ led Lola to become an author of her first book: Healthy Hair Is Good Hair – A Quick Guide to Developing a Healthy Natural Hair Care Regimen.

Lola Fowora is a Business Analyst with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate Management School.  She is the founder of Editorinkinks.com and lolafowora.com.

Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, she now resides in Chicago with her husband and daughters.
